What areas do you provide mobile services?

Optimal Braids service York County SC, parts of Lancaster SC, Chester SC and South Charlotte.

Locations outside of the surrounding area will be subject an increased travel fee. Please inquire prior to booking appointment via email.

Do I need to have my hair washed before my appointment?

Yes! Hair MUST be washed, dried, and detangled PRIOR to the scheduled appointment. Appointments will be cancelled/rescheduled if scalp and hair is not cleansed. Deposits WILL be forfeited and will not carry over to rescheduled appointment.

Do I need to purchase any items?

No, basic items are provided such as: braiding hair, combs and hair products used for braiding.

Xpression 1B hair is provided.

If you prefer a different color, you MUST notify on intake form during appointment booking OR email directly at optimalbraids@gmail.com

How does the mobile service work?

Great question! You will provide the location your Braider needs to arrive at.

Once Hair Braiders arrive, we will set up our designated workstation, cleanse hands and prep for your appointment.

Late or No Call/No Show?

Appointments (15) mins late from agreed time is subject to a $20 late fee charge.

Appointments (20) mins late or greater from agreed time WILL be cancelled with NO REFUND.

No Call/No Show appointments WILL forfeit non refundable deposit and receive a FULL charge for expected services to card on file. Any future appointments are subject to being banned from future bookings with Optimal Braids.

After Hours Services?

Yes! After Hours services are available for an additional fee $100. Fees and scheduling is subject to change.

After Hours are Sundays all day and Monday - Saturday after 4pm.

How do I cancel/reschedule my appointment?

CANCELLING by client : All appointments have (3) days to cancel appointment for a full deposit refund. Any cancellation request afterwards will forfeit non-refundable deposit. Cancellations can be completed by emailing us at OptimalBraids@gmail.com OR by booking conformation email.

RESCHEDULING by client: Rescheduled appointment MUST occur within the same month only. Appointments originally scheduled the last week of the month will be allowed to schedule within the first week of the following month.

RESCHEDULING by OB: Rescheduled appointments initiated by OB may choose a future date up to (30) days from originally appointment. Clients that choose not to reschedule are entitled to a full deposit refund.

How do I maintain my style?

Best way to have longevity of a style is to keep your scalp cleansed, moisturized, and wear a hair protective cap when showering, swimming and bedtime/nap.

COVID-19 Policy?

Masks are optional for staff and Hair Braiders. However, if your prefer our Hair Braiders to wear a mask PLEASE notify us during the intake form or upon arrival. OPTIMAL BRAIDS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COVID-19 EXPOSURES.

CLIENTS ARE SUBJECT TO BEING BANNED FROM SERVICES BY OPTIMAL BRAIDS LLC.

DUE TO THE ABOVE NATURE, CLIENTS ARE SUBJECT TO FORFEITING DEPOSIT AND ANY OTHER MONIES PAID TO OPTIMAL BRAIDS LLC.
